Bulgaria’s Intelligent Music Project will perform at Eurovision’s First Semifinal tonight

The first semi-final of Eurovision 2022 will take place tonight, May 10. Bulgaria’s representatives from Intelligent Music Project will be performing under number 7 on the big stage.

They are expecting support so that they can continue towards their dream - the grand final of the most prestigious music competition in Europe, where the message of their song "Intention" can be heard.

BNT1 will broadcast the show live from Turin at 22.00 today.

"We are ready. We were born ready. We have rehearsed a lot. You know we've been preparing for this moment for many months, so yes - we're definitely ready. Eurovision is a perfect moment to show everyone that music can heal people, that everyone can be happier, that everything can be okay, that we can give people hope through music," said Intelligent Music Project frontman Ronnie Romero hours before the semi-final.

Romero also said that the atmosphere in the song contest was great and everyone expects to have fun.

"When I heard the guys play, I thought they needed a gravity centre because they play rock and I wanted to amplify it with this centre that spreads energy everywhere. It's a very simple idea and it worked for me. The stage performance is amazing, it's powerful, it's impressive and the rest is their talent," says Andrea Celli, the band's creative director.

Last night, Intelligent Music Project performed their song in front of the jury,

50% of the result for the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is determined by the national juries and 50% of the vote is decided by the televoters.

The band are expecting support from their fans in Europe and from Bulgarians in the countries allowed to vote. on the numbers announced by the local TV channels that broadcast Eurovision.
