After three weeks I am back in Sofia", EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi tweeted after his meetings yesterday with Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, President Rumen Radev and Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska.
Varhelyi points out that he was back to Sofia to find common ground and support in Bulgaria to start negotiations process with north Macedonia and Albania in June.

According to him, the stability of the Western Balkans cannot be underestimated, so starting negotiations with Skopje and Tirana would be a huge contribution in this direction.
