Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 359 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 359 from 6,502 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 12.

Test positivity rate is less than 6%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,160,706.

The active cases are 124,042.

Of the total, 629 patients are in hospitals, 67 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 4,626 recoveries;

· 1,038 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 12 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 66,85% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 91,67% had not been vaccinated.

There were 68 new hospitalisations, of which 76,47% had not been vaccinated.
