Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 362 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 362 from 6,777 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 17.

Test positivity rate is 5,3%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,161,992.

The active cases are 104,198.

Of the total, 583 patients are in hospitals, 55 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 6,252 recoveries;

· 725 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 11 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 64,36% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 100 new hospitalisations, of which 70,00% had not been vaccinated.
