Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 422 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 422 from 7,563 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 11.

Test positivity rate is less than 6%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,160,347

The active cases are 128,321.

Of the total, 646 patients are in hospitals, 72 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 3,193 recoveries;

· 1,072 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 13 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 60,66% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 92,31% had not been vaccinated.

There were 77 new hospitalisations, of which 74,03% had not been vaccinated.
