Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 457 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 457 from 8,130 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 18.

Test positivity rate is 5,6%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,162,449.

The active cases are 99,213.

Of the total, 572 patients are in hospitals, 50 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 5,436 recoveries;

· 781 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 6 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 61,27% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 53 new hospitalisations, of which 77,36% had not been vaccinated.
