Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 96 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 96 from 3,021 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 23.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,163,413.

The active cases are 83,681.

Of the total, 511 patients are in hospitals, 43 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 57 recoveries;

· 12 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 7 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 59,38% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 13 new hospitalisations, of which 38,46% had not been vaccinated.
