According to Russian media outlets, Gazprom has halted the gas exports to Bulgaria and Poland. A message from the Telegram channel of the holding is cited.
It is stated that the gas flow was halted because Sofia and Warsaw did not pay for the supplies in roubles on time.
To remind, Bulgaria and Poland are transit countries. The Telegram channel of Gazprom states that if a certain amount of transit gas is missing, the volume of the supplies will be reduces with said amount.
After the announcement of the gas halt for Poland and Bulgaria, the prices of the fuel in Europe increased with 21%.
