The premises were equipped with ventilation and humidity, temperature, and lighting controls. A total of 889 cannabis plants in various stages of development were found.
In a room separated as a drying room, the law enforcement authorities found the presence of 620 grammes of dried leaves, which after a field drug test also reacted positively to marijuana.
The police found out that the owner of the illegal facility and the plants grown there was a 22-year-old man from Sofia.
He was detained for 24 hours at Peshtera police station. All the drugs and equipment found were seized. The work on the case continues under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Pazardzhik.
