A survey by “Trend” polling agency shows that “We Continue the Change”, (which has the largest number of seats in Parliament and is a partner in the 4-party government coalition), continues to lose voter support and the formerly ruling GERB party moves ahead of it. The support for the nationalist “Vazrazhdane”, which is the smallest party in the Parliament, is increasing for a second month in a row.

Erosion in support of “We Continue the Change” continues this month, from 22.9% of those who said they would vote in March to 20.1% in April.

If elections were held now, 23.6% of respondents would vote for GERB, 20.1% for We Continue the Change (WCC), 11.1% for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), 10.5% for the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), 9.3% for Vazrazhdane, 7.1% for Democratic Bulgaria (DB), 6.9% for There Is Such a People (TISP).
More than half of the Bulgarians believe the present government will not serve a full term.

Nearly half of the Bulgarians (47%) are of the opinion that early parliamentary elections are not necessary, while 37% are of the opposite opinion. In the breakdown in groups, it is noticable that the position that early parliamentary elections are needed is dominant only among the supporters of GERB and "Vazrazhdane".

The positive assessment of the work of the Parliament remained at 24% of all respondents, while the negative assessment rose to 66%.

Positive assessment for the Government has decreased to 27% in April from 29% in March, while the negative assessment has increased to 58% from 56%. There are significant differences in the attitude to the work done by the government among the various party electorates. ”We Continue the Change” supporters are the most committed in their support for the Cabinet. The supporters of the other three parties in the ruling coalition have a more nuanced opinion. The positive and negative assessment ratio among the voters of the power-sharing Democratic Bulgaria is 5 to 3. The electorate of Bulgarian Socilaist Party is equally divided on the matter, while the majority of “There is Such a People” supporters expressed a negative opinion of the Cabinet's work.

Support for the President has not changed significantly in April. The assessments for his current work are 50% positive, while 38% are negative.

The survey was conducted among 1,004 respondents aged over 18, between April 6 and 13, through person-to-person interviews.
