Further 50 positive samples of bacteria causing meningitis were confirmed on December 7 in the 37th kindergarten in Sofia, where an outbreak of the infection broke out last week.
Two weeks ago, a 5-year-old child died after a severe infection. The health authorities clarified that all people with positive samples are only carriers and are not infectious to others.
