The largest passenger plane in the world made an emergency landing at Sofia airport on September 4.
During the flight from Houston to Dubai, the crew of Airbus 380 reported there was a sick passenger on board. Sofia's 3,600 m runway successfully accommodated the double-decked Airbus A380, which needs 2,750 m to stop.
The flight to Dubai continued smoothly after the passenger got off the plane to receive medical attention.
