Annual inflation rate for February 2022 compared to February 2021 is at 10%, Bulgaria’s National Statistical Institute reported on March 15. Monthly inflation rate is at 1.4% and the inflation rate since the beginning of the year is at 2.9%.
The biggest rise in food prices in February was reported in the price of tomatoes, peppers, apples, cabbage, cucumbers, flour, chicken, margarine and dairy oils:
