Dry grasses and bushes are burning near Dupnitsa, Western Bulgaria. The fire is about 30 meters from the foundations of Struma motorway.
About 250 decares of land have been affected, Svetoslav Georgiev, the director of the fire-fighting service in Kyustendil, told BNT on March 25.

Three fire-fighting teams are on site trying to contain the fire, but strong winds are spreading the flames.
The fire broke out last night around midnight in the area of Balanovski Rid. The teams that arrived at the scene managed to contain and extinguish it, but the strong winds reignited it today.
The fire occurred as a result of clearing agricultural stubble.
