Bulgarian National Television on June 14 was awarded for "Promoting Bulgarian Tourism" at the annual meeting of tourism representatives of “Destination Bulgaria” magazine. The award was accepted by Mariana Vekilska as host of "Bulgaria in 60 Minutes" programme.
The idea of the tourism meeting is to bring together representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, various diplomatic missions in Bulgaria, tour operators and journalists to attract more tourists to Bulgaria from abroad and specifically from neighbouring countries.
The Bulgarian National Television is the media that most deserves the award for promoting Bulgarian tourism because of the rich content on the subject in all its channels.
Programmes such as "Tourism BG", "Bulgaria from End to End", "10 thousand steps" and "Bulgaria in 60 Minutes" have as their mission to promote different destinations in Bulgaria.
In addition, of all Bulgarian media, BNT has the largest human resource of reporters, correspondents and camera operators throughout Bulgaria, who, by telling inspiring stories and showing the beauty of our homeland, take viewers on a journey in various places in Bulgaria and calls forth taking the journey themselves.
