A woman’s body was pulled out from the waters of the Danube river near Rousse on June 16.
The alert about the floating dead body was submitted to the Emergency Rescue Service of the Maritime Administration-Rousse and with the help of a Border Police cutter the body was recovered from the river.
The woman, about 50 years old, was wearing clothes. It remains to be clarified whether it was an accident, murder or suicide. Her identity has not yet been ascertained. According to initial information, the body was in the water for a day or two. It has been taken to Forensic Medicine.
