Bogdan Bogdanov has been appointed Executive Director of Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA) by order of the Minister of Innovation and Growth, Daniel Lorer, the Ministry of Innovation and Growth said on April 11.
Bogdanov holds a bachelor's degree in finance from VUZF University. He studied at West Chester University in the United States. He has a master's degree in European business and finance from the University for National and World Economic and Nottingham Trent University in the UK. Business development specialist with more than 10 years of experience. He has worked for Bulgarian and foreign companies with a focus in development and high added value industries. Married with two children.
"Investment and innovation is a focus in the government's term of office. We have set ourselves the goal of attracting high-tech investments that create added value for the whole society. The IBA needs a new energy and a proactive strategy to attract foreign investment," Minister Lorer said.
The former Executive Director of IBA, Stamen Yanev (pictured below), becomes an advisor to the Policy Office of the Minister of Innovation and Growth, with responsibility for investment.
