Prime Minister, Kiril Petkov, convened a meeting of the Security Council, the government press office said on March 9.
The Council discussed the situation in the Eastern European region in relation to the risks arising from the war in Ukraine, as well as possible scenarios for the development of the situation.
During the meeting, Defence Minister, Dragomir Zakov, noted that Bulgaria's position in NATO should be clear and predictable and that this is the direction in which Bulgarian institutions are working.
The Prime Minister, for his part, called on the security services to continue providing operational information.
