Bulgaria’s Prime Minister, Kiril Petkov, held a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on April 19 in Sofia.The focus of the talks was the Russian aggression and the extremely difficult situation for the civilian population in Ukraine.
Dmytro Kuleba expressed his gratitude to the government of Kirill Petkov for the support provided and for the assistance that every Ukrainian citizen fleeing the war receives in Bulgaria.
Prime Minister Kirill Petkov assured Dmytro Kuleba that Bulgaria will continue to be among the most friendly and strongly supportive countries to Ukraine. And the Bulgarian institutions will continue to provide the necessary assistance and care for the Ukrainian refugees.
After the one-on-one talks between Petkov and Kuleba, an extended meeting was held between the two delegations, with Deputy Prime Minister Kalina Konstantinova, Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska and Defence Minister Dragomir Zakov, taking part from the Bulgarian side.
