Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister, Teodora Genchovska, submitted her resignation to the Prime Minister, the Foreign Ministry's press office said on June 13.
The reason for the resignation is related to the decision of "There is Such a People" party to withdraw its ministers from the government.
Theodora Genchovska will continue to perform her duties under the Constitution until a new Minister of Foreign Affairs is elected.
Prior to her resignation, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional development Grozdan Karadzhov and Sports Minister Radostin Vassilev, also from the "There is Such a People" quota, resigned.
