From tomorrow, November 24, members of the public will be able to receive information about vaccines and vaccination against COVID-19 on 02/9301 445, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health said on November 23.
The special telephone line will be answered by Dr. Filip Tenchev and Dr. Dimitar Strashimirov, assistants in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Parasitology and Tropical Medicine at the Medical Faculty of Sofia Medical University.
Earlier today, the two doctors held a working meeting with the caretaker Minister of Health, Dr. Stoycho Katsarov.
"Thank you for your commitment. It is very important that people get reliable information about the Covid-19 vaccines. It is important to try to help people who have been misled into not believing in the vaccines, to hear the opinion of the experts and specialists," the Health Minister said.
The aim is through the hotline for questions related to vaccines and vaccination against coronavirus infection, the members of the public to receive scientifically based information related to contraindications for vaccination, storage of vaccines, and recommendations for vaccination if people have some underlying health conditions, pregnancy, etc.
