Bulgaria’s Minister of Justice, Nadezhda Yordanova, commented to journalists on the meeting with European Chief Prosecutor, Laura Kövesi, on March 17.
The discussion was about the competences of the European Public Prosecutor's Office, amendments to the Criminal Code, fraud with EU funds. There are specific proposals on the table. We also talked about amendments to the Judiciary Act to ensure more effective and independent work of the European delegated prosecutors in Bulgaria, the minister explained.
We informed Kövesi about Bulgaria's progress, Yordanova said.
