The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,143 from 14,092 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 1.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,138,923.
Test positivity rate is slightly above 8%.
The active cases are 179,885.
Of the total, 1,944 patients are in hospitals, 219 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 5,133 recoveries;
· 1,698 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;
· 17 Covid-19 related deaths.
Of the daily cases, 66,67% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 82,35% had not been vaccinated.
There were 193 new hospitalisations, of which 79,27% had not been vaccinated.
