The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,278 from 22,602 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on December 28.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 735,998
The active cases are 98,459.
Of the total, 4,090 patients are in hospitals, 464 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,109 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 606,916
· 3,334 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 3,658,694.
· 49 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 30,623.
Of the daily cases, 80.52% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 95.92% had not been vaccinated.
There were 266 new hospitalisations, of which 87.22% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination.
