The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,943 from 14,820 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 23.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,128,089.
Test positivity rate is 13%.
The active cases are 191,282.
Of the total, 2,055 patients are in hospitals, 236 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,305 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 900,457
· 1,787 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,338,642.
· 20 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 36,350.
Of the daily cases, 69.94% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 80,00% had not been vaccinated.
There were 246 new hospitalisations, of which 78,86% had not been vaccinated.
