The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,960 from 16,390 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 22.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,126,146.
The active cases are 190,664.
Of the total, 2,106 patients are in hospitals, 246 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 4,336 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 899,152
· 1,569 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,336,850.
· 48 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 36,330.
Of the daily cases, 69.59% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 91,67% had not been vaccinated.
There were 292 new hospitalisations, of which 73,63% had not been vaccinated.
