Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 226 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 226 from 4,068 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 4.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,140,679.

Test positivity rate is 5,5%.

The active cases are 177,462.

Of the total, 1,869 patients are in hospitals, 206 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 376 recoveries;

· 156 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 3 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 69,91% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 39 new hospitalisations, of which 69,23% had not been vaccinated.
