The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,379 from 15,035 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 17.
Test positivity rate is at 15,8%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 820,608
The active cases are 151,477.
Of the total, 5,267 patients are in hospitals, 557 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,239 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 637,045
· 3,719 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,007,018.
· 44 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 32,086.
Of the daily cases, 77.30% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 93.18% had not been vaccinated.
There were 177 new hospitalisations, of which 83.62% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination.
