The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,602 from 15,061 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 31.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 941,814.
The active cases are 239,320.
Of the total, 5,730 patients are in hospitals, 506 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,198 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 669,334
· 1,901 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,157,520.
· 39 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 33,160.
Of the daily cases, 77.86% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 92.31% had not been vaccinated.
There were 210 new hospitalisations, of which 85.71% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination.

The daily cases on Sunday, January 30, were 5,875. The test positivity rate for that day was 25,07%.
The daily cases on Saturday, January 29, were 9,871, with test positity rate at 23,05%.
