The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,759 from 22,417 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 1.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,091,279.
The active cases are 215,521.
Of the total, 3,918 patients are in hospitals, 473 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 5,833 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 840,177
· 554 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,297,604.
· 99 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 35,581.
Of the daily cases, 74.56% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 86.87% had not been vaccinated.
There were 467 new hospitalisations, of which 87.79% had not been vaccinated.
