The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,667 from 23,406 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 23.
Test positivity rate is at 20%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,077,160.
The active cases are 235,067.
Of the total, 4,887 patients are in hospitals, 544 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 8,545 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 806,848
· 4,417 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,282,639.
· 60 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 35,245.
Of the daily cases, 75.04% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 91,67% had not been vaccinated.
There were 490 new hospitalisations, of which 85.51% had not been vaccinated.
So far, 2,039,864 people have been fully vaccinated. 676,925 have been given a booster dose.
