The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 5,023 from 25,067 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 17.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,054,566.
The active cases are 257,265.
Of the total, 5,639 patients are in hospitals, 594 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 5,078 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 762,522
· 5,407 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,260,171.
· 93 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 34,779.
Of the daily cases, 74.72% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 89,25% had not been vaccinated.
There were 639 new hospitalisations, of which 83.88% had not been vaccinated.
So far, 2,032,358 people have been fully vaccinated. 663,265 have been given a booster dose.
