Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 515 new cases, positivity rate is at 9,5%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 515 from 5,423 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 7.

Test positivity rate is at 9,5%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,101,326.

The active cases are 211,246.

Of the total, 3,172 patients are in hospitals, 413 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 868 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 854,248

· 350 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,310,499.

· 21 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 35,832.

Of the daily cases, 68.35% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100.00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 77 new hospitalisations, of which 81.82% had not been vaccinated.
