Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 523 new cases, positivity rate is 10,7%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 523 from 4,881 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 14.

Test positivity rate is at 10,7%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,112,699.

The active cases are 198,844.

Of the total, 2,592 patients are in hospitals, 344 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 752 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 877,757

· 290 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,323,390.

· 14 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 36,098.

Of the daily cases, 73.61% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 92.86% had not been vaccinated.

There were 65 new hospitalisations, of which 73.85% had not been vaccinated.
