Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 550 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 550 from 8,311 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 15.

Test positivity rate is around 7%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,148,362

The active cases are 164,809.

Of the total, 1,116 patients are in hospitals, 133 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2,150 recoveries;

· 1,632 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 8 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 73,09% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 75,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 116 new hospitalisations, of which 80,17% had not been vaccinated.
