The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 5,703 from 29,813 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 13. 2022.
Test positivity rate is slightly above 19%.
The largest number of new cases is reported in Sofia - 1,666.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 799,943
The active cases are 139,593.
Of the total, 5,257 patients are in hospitals, 579 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 6,257 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 628,512
· 30,398 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 3,941,901.
· 77 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 31,838.
Of the daily cases, 72.66% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 92.21% had not been vaccinated.
There were 553 new hospitalisations, of which 81.37% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination.
