Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 624 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 624 from 9,039 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 10.

Test positivity rate is 6,9%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,159,925.

The active cases are 131,105.

Of the total, 715 patients are in hospitals, 73 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2,454 recoveries;

· 893 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 21 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 66.51% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 95,24% had not been vaccinated.

There were 138 new hospitalisations, of which 76,81% had not been vaccinated.
