Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 6,278 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 6,278 from 27,998 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 11.

The share of daily positive Covid-19 tests is at 22,42%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,025,129.

The active cases are 261,909.

Of the total, 6,238 patients are in hospitals, 601 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 6,645 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 728,992

· 8,320 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,226,703.

· 76 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 34,228.

Of the daily cases, 76.00% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 85,53% had not been vaccinated.

There were 681 new hospitalisations, of which 84.43% had not been vaccinated.

So far, 2,023,316 people have been fully vaccinated. 648,967 have been given a booster dose.
