The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 6,589 from 28,986 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 16.
The share of daily positive Covid-19 tests is nearly 22,7%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,049,543.
The active cases are 257,413.
Of the total, 5,721 patients are in hospitals, 601 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 5,848 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 757,444
· 5,537 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,254,776.
· 95 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 34,686.
Of the daily cases, 75.87% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 88,42% had not been vaccinated.
There were 622 new hospitalisations, of which 84.89% had not been vaccinated.
So far, 2,030,626 people have been fully vaccinated. 659,963 have been given a booster dose.
