The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 706 from 16, 360 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on December 6.
Test positivity rate is slightly less than 5%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 703,160
The active cases are 100,811.
Of the total, 6,130 patients are in hospitals, 674 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 385 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 573,497
· 4,050 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 3,400,750.
· 47 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 28,852.
Of the daily cases, 81.30% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 100.00% had not been vaccinated.
There were 165 new hospitalisations, of which 84.24% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination.
The daily cases on December 5 were 985 and 2,289 on December 4.
