The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 8,012 from 37,509 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 8.
The share of daily positive Covid-19 tests is at 21,36%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,003, 448.
The active cases are 261,577.
Of the total, 6,256 patients are in hospitals, 623 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 5,782 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 707,925
· 5,671 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,211,561.
· 176 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 33,946.
Of the daily cases, 75.69% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 90.34% had not been vaccinated.
There were 1,145 new hospitalisations, of which 87.07% had not been vaccinated.
So far, 2,014,447 people have been fully vaccinated. 636,098 have been given a booster dose.
