Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 895 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 895 from 11,369 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 19.

Test positivity rate is 7,87%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,150,342

The active cases are 161,039.

Of the total, 996 patients are in hospitals, 112 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 3,290 recoveries;

· 1,261administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 26 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63,69% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 92,31% had not been vaccinated.

There were 158 new hospitalisations, of which 80,38% had not been vaccinated.
