At an extraordinary meeting on March 1, the Council for Electronic Media adopted by a majority of 4 votes a decision to temporarily restrict the retransmission of audiovisual media services on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria of Russia Today and its subsidiaries, as well as of Sputnik and its subsidiaries.
The Council's decision has been forwarded to the Communications Regulation Commission for action under its competence.
