According to an order of the Health Ministry, as of January 11, the isolation period for the persons with confirmed Covid-19 is reduced from 14 to 10 days, considered from the date of the lab result, and the quarantine for contact persons from 10 to 7 days, considered from the date of their latest contact with the confirmed case.
The director of the relevant regional health inspectorate may revoke the quarantine of a close contact person if he or she has received an additional booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
The condition is that the person submits by e-mail a negative result from a PCR test taken 72 hours after the date of the start of the quarantine. The quarantine will be cancelled within 24 hours from the presentation of the document.
The same order ends the requirement for mandatory 14-day isolation after discharge from hospital.
The prescriptions for isolation and quarantine issued at the time of entry into force of the order shall be terminated after the expiration of the term indicated in them.
