The decline in the number of Covid-19 infections in Bulgaria continues.
Five districts - Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Smolyan, Kardzhali and Haskovo - are now in the yellow Stage 2.
The stage is part of the new plan to tackle Covid-19, which divides the country’s 28 districts into six clusters, and is based on four stages depending on the percentages of occupied intensive care unit beds.
The plan includes four stages, with response action at each: the first stage is when 50 per cent of intensive care beds are occupied, the second at 60 per cent, the third at 70 per cent and the fourth at 80 per cent.
