The Ministers of Defence of Bulgaria and Spain arrive at “Graff Ignatievo” Air Base today, February 21, to inspect the joint airspace protection carried out by MiG-29 and Eurofighter Typhoon aircrafts.
Four Spanish Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft arrived on February 11 at Bulgaria’s “Graf Ignatievo” Air Base.
Spain deployed the fighter jets, along with 130 military personnel, to Bulgaria to assist in the country’s air policing, in a mission that will continue until March 31 2022.
