Demonstration in solidarity with the Ukrainian people held in Sofia

This month we have witnessed many protests in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and with a message of peace. Such demonstration was held in Sofia in the evening on March 24. It was also in support of Bulgaria's Euro-Atlantic orientation.

All those who came to the centre of Sofia tonight demanded an end to hostilities in Ukraine.

Today, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country has lasted six times longer than the Russians planned. He called on people around the world to protest the war.

There will be a similar peaceful demonstration against the war in Ukraine in the coastal city of Varna on Saturday at 14:00.
