Traffic of vehicles weighing more than 12 tonnes with trailers and semi-trailers is temporarily restricted on the road Simitli - Razlog and Yakoruda - Yundola through the Predela pass, Western Bulgaria.
The reason is heavy snowfall and snow clearing, Bulgaria’s Road Infrastructure agency said on February 7.
During the night precipitation is expected in all areas of the country. In mountainous areas it will snow. Rain or wet snow is expected in the lowlands.
It will be very windy. A weather warning for dangerously strong gusts, with speeds of up to about 70-90 km/h, is now in effect for all districts.
