Police in Bourgas detained a large group of illegal migrants in the morning on February 1. The operation took place on the road from Sredets to the centre of the of the seaside city. One of the migrants was taken to hospital.
A total of 61 migrants have been detained, police said. All are men around the age of 25.
Shortly before 8.00 am in the area of the intersection of Bourgas streets "Zahari Stoyanov" and "Georgi Panov", a team of "Traffic Police" noticed a crashed cargo vehicle - with a falling board, without a driver.

The migrants have been found in the cargo area. The driver of the lorry was not there and is wanted.
Some of the migrants felt unwell and received medical aid.
One of the persons was in a helpless state and was taken to a hospital in Bourgas for examination.
The hospital later said his condition was stable, medics found nothing to worry about and he was returned to the group.
