A group of 51 migrants was detained on February 14 between the villages of Ezero and Radevo, Nova Zagora region in Central Bulgaria. At the moment, there is still no information on the nationality of the men. After establishing their identity, they will be placed in a migrant centre in Lyubimets
The migrants are currently being held at the Nova Zagora Regional Police Station, where information is being gathered about where they travelled from, where they crossed and how they ended up in the field between the two villages of Nova Zagora.
The signal about the migrants was received at 7 o'clock. The smuggler had probably fooled them into believing they were near a border and then abandoned them.
All are currently being examined by a medical team and those who need medical attention will be treated.
